Actually I think one can tell most long time posters' race or ethnicity by their posts and the fighters they support. And there's nothing wrong with supporting your own as long as your bias doesn't get in the way of your judgement.
The most easily identifyable groups on these forums are the Mexicans, Ricans, black US guys, Brits, Filippinos, Cubans (small but very vocal group).
But I think 99% of posters like at least some fighters "outside of their creed".Last edited by Black Barty; 06-05-2014, 03:27 AM.

I believe what you meant to say was ethnicity or nationality as opposed to creed because that denotes a core set of similar values such as religion, ethics, norms and beliefs. However to answer the question, Yes true boxing fans love the sport above any one particular fighter, regardless of its heritage or ethnic background. Modern boxing has survived for centuries and will continue to do so. because great fighters and big fighting events will always captivate the public's imagination.

My A-team says it all I have many different styles of fighters I like (Martinez,B-Hop,Marquez,Crawford,etc.) I do pull for Mexican fighters allot I guess it's a force of habit and up bringing. When I boxed as a teen I was more of a counter puncher, not like the typical take 2 punches to give you one !! Over time I have learned to love all kinds of styles.
