Manny would fight a Cruiserweight (Chavez Jr) if he felt like it. He really doesn't care. It's mainly Roach/Arum keeping things in the 147 range. If Manny could bulk up a little more and get near 160 to challenge Martinez or a lineal 160 champ, awesome. Otherwise he should just drop to 140. 147 seems played out at this point.

Longer reach that's about it. These two guys are arguably the same size.

        whatever...........

Yes he is. He's at least a FULL weight class bigger than Manny. Floyd is not as little as people claim. Do your research and use your brain. Floyd was also bigger than Maidana. He was also as big as Mosley. He was as big as Ortiz as well.

definitely. Nevermind the fact that Pac was 151 vs Bradley and Floyd was 148 vs Maidana

You are on drugs if you believe that. He has shown OVER and OVER that his max cap in weight is 150-151 pounds. He is a natural WW just like Manny at this point. Floyd at most is probably 3 or 4 pounds heavier then Manny and that probably not even the case. You mean to tell me every single WW fight of his he rigged the fight night weigh-ins so that they will say he is fighting at 148 pounds EVERY SINGLE TIME???

if you are going to start that then its no use on even debating because I cant take you seriously. Ive met nearly all the top boxers in person and I can tell you that Floyd is not no 160 nothing

This fight shouldn't even be talked about, Canelo and Manny didn't even ask to fight with each other and they are two fighters in completely different weight divisions. Further more one is too big to go down and the other is too small to go up and it would be point less to have a catchweight because the only thing that would be proven if it were to happen is that one fighter was dehydrated beyond zombie status and the other was over blown. Just let each fighter go their seperate way and let it go, there are plenty of real challenges for each fighter in their respective weight divisions.

Is that why Maidana weighed 165 on fight night while Floyd weighed 148?

Naw, Maidana was wearing all his clothes when he weighed that much.

That myth was debunked by Garcia. Keep reaching for the stars.
