When Sergio Martinez headlined at a stadium in Argentina last year in front of tens of thousands of fans, it was a homecoming for a fighter who hadn’t fought there in 12 years.
Martinez is from Buenos Aires, and all but one of his first 26 pro boxing bouts came in his home country.
