schaeffer a former glorified swiss bank teller was caught stealing money from gbp coffers. oscar has no choice but to terminate his services in his company.

    as simple as that...

oscar is an atg but in the 50-60 range. if it makes you feel better i rate oscar much higher then pacman though.
Oscar was a great fighter (one of my favorites), but if you honestly rate him above Pacquiao you either have some bias against Pacquiao or are just a plain fool. Pacquiao's accomplishments in the ring far exceed ODLH's.

Yet they want a banker who has only his best interest at heart and is considered a snake by many, to succeed?? Am I reading this right?

I forgot doe, they no longer thugs but business-oriented individuals

Only a f10m0 would like to idea of being deprived of the best boxing matches so their idols can become rich!

ODH is a true alpha boss and I think this fills guys like BHOP, Mayweather and the f10m0s with envy....al those guys are racist who only want success for their fellow . They see that Oscar calls the shots, makes millions of dollars, has a beautiful family, is good-looking, has the respect of the people, yet their hero is respected only by lil-kim and the like....lol. They long for their hero to be an alpha male like Oscar instead of the whinny ducker he truly is...lol.
Don't forget Oscar ****d a teenage girl and gave her family hush money to keep his squeaky clean image~

You're very naive if you think co-GBP-TR shows are gonna become the norm. They occasionally get together for a big fight. And they may be willing to sacrifice a guy that they're reading to cash out. And situations where a mandated fight between fighters by both is ordered. But any promoter worth salt isn't gonna risk a guy that he feels is on the rise losing to a guy contractually tied to another promoter. Hypothetically because I don't know their contract status. But if Porter and Thurman are tied to GBP. Arum isn't gonna risk putting Bradley in with either. Cause if Bradley loses, he becomes devalued for Arum. And Arum wouldn't have Thurman or Porter to replace him.

I'm really happy for Oscar De La Hoya and I hope that he continues trying and succeeds in doing business with as many promoters as possible to give us the fans the best and most competitive fights. There is no sense in anyone closing doors and burning bridges with anyone in the business world or in boxing because it leads to a lot of great fights being compromised and that's what Schafer was doing. I support Oscar De La Hoya and Golden Boy Promotions and wish them the best and all the success in the world.
