    Understandable view point.

There's not enough in the DeGale fight for Froch at the moment

Hes right though, jcc-froch is the big fight to make. if hes stripped of his title, that would be a bad look for the IBF, u cant do that man.. its not froch would be fighting some random dude as a title defense.

thats like the IBF stripping wlad for fighting stiverne instead of say someone like fury.. cmon sanctioning bodies.

      am i wrong here?

Exactly. What has James DeGale done???

How about DeGale-Groves rematch finally??? If I'm not mistaken, their first fight was real close.

I'd much rather see Froch fight Chavez Jr next. That has action packed written all over it and a chance to see if Chavez Jr is any good still.

Groves has run from the rematch for years and he's not going to take it now after 2 stoppage defeats in a row. Sauerland will have him feasting on EuroBums for the next year or so.

            I see.

How about DeGale fighting someone like Bika, Abraham, or even Kessler if he's chasing Froch???

He's mandatory for the IBF title so he'll fight whoever the IBF have as their next contender I would assume. That's if Froch drops the belt of course.

                It's funny Froch says that.

Because if I recall he was mandatory for Joe's belt, but like DeGale hadn't beaten a big name, so Joe opted to vacate and fight a bigger name and attempt to become a two weight champion.

And Froch accused Calzaghe for a few years of ducking him.

Froch has since acknowledged that Calzaghe did what was best for his own career.

And to be fair, Froch fought Groves who was his mandatory when there were bigger fights out there.

Let Froch get his Vegas fight while DeGale does beat that someone. Then Froch could potentially go out on another mega-event back home.
