Yeah, I can't really compare the damage Chavez did against Maravilla to any one shot Cotto brings up with him. Miguel is an activity fighter, with a good body hook, NOT a one punch ****er; which works in Sergio's favor.
I will grant that I thought Martinez, who I like, looked rather...ordinary...against Murray but, again, he WAS dealing with a man much naturally larger than Miguel.
It comes down to rounds in the bank for Cotto, which really comes down to Sergio's mobility and stamina - a.k.a. what he has left in the tank.
I agree, the Martinez who fought Murray probably won't breeze through Cotto, but the Cotto who had problems with the bigger punchers he's faced isn't going to love Sergio's pop, either....
