I'm not saying Canelos lying about how he can't make the catchweight, but i saw a interview with Donaire which he tells the lady interviewing him that when he was younger fighting in the lower divisions like 112, he use to weight around 140-145 and lose all that weight to make the limit. She was surprised of how much weight he lost for the fight, but he said if your determined its easy, but since he's in his 30's now he can't do that anymore. Canelo is 23 so it should be no problem unless he really weights way over 170 for his walk around weight.

People have different builds, people's bodies react differently than others when dropping drastic weight. Can't compare the 2

1. There is no lineal title on Canelo @ 154, so why bother. He could fight him if Canelo KO's Lara though. That would be huge.
2. I would pick 2010 Margarito to scrub the floor with Canelo, Pacquiao would do the same.
3. Fights @ 140 and 147 are better. He could unify 140+get a lineal while beating some legitimate fighters. @ 147, it's whatever he wants to do. +140/7 is his natural category
