Given the right motivation, he can make 152... but will he be healthy? most likely not.
He gets knock the fuc out like Dawson (by a non-puncher) and will be ruined forever.

The catchweight was basically a way for Manny's team to appear interested, but avoid the fightI. If they waved enough money in Ginger's face. I'm sure he would do 152 again. But Manny probably wouldn't fight him an oz above 150.

Pac would beat him like the red headed step child that he is. Canelo would have no answer for the speed and combinations. I dont even think he'll get past Lara but I would love this fight instead of Marquez 5. ANYTHING instead of that. Let Marquez go out with a **** against Rios and let Manny start testing himself against Canelo, Thurman, Maidana, Khan, Porter and company.

Pacquaio isn't fighting again til November I believe. So yeah, that's a FULL calendar year. And being that Canelo wasn't willing to put in the effort to make weight against Angulo, I don't think it's an excuse.

The only thing is that, against Pacquaio, the payday could be so big that it might be worth trying to make the weight anyway. Despite knowing you probably will fail.

Which clearly hindered him. I see the rehydratetards are making a comeback!

This is a ****** sideshow fight. Only reason its being brought up is because Cinnabon is the only known fighter around Pac's weight under GB contract. Rather wait and see what fighters will be/are under contract with GB that Pac can fight.

And Pacquiao would beat his ass at any weight
I hope Manny has the balls to negotiate for this fight. I believe for the right money, Canelo can get to 152. I remember when Floyd was fighting Canelo, people called it a cherry-pick. See how fast things change!

Could Manny Pacquiao face Canelo Alvarez even if the promotional issues were settled? Freddie Roach says he thinks the fight could happen at 150 pounds, if Canelo could make that weight.

Outside of Juan Manuel Marquez, are there any other choices for him? Or is that the choice for him?

"Well, you know, they're talking about Canelo Alvarez now. At the right weight, we'll fight him. Thing is, he's a much bigger guy than Manny usually. But if we can get a catchweight that'd be fair to both of them, I think it'd be a good fight. I'd love that fight. There's a lot of fights out there that I'd like Manny to fight, but since the promoters are against each other right now, they're hard to get.

"I hope (Marquez) isn't our only choice. Because, you know, we would love to fight Marquez one more time and get that off our back, but I don't think he'll fight Manny. He's turned us down, he turned down big money to fight Manny in a rematch. Well, I can't call it a rematch. ... I do hear rumors of Bob and Oscar talking. That sounds good to me!"

How does that fight play out? Canelo's a little bigger guy, I know Manny didn't want to fight at 154 anymore, because with the Margarito fight, he just felt that was too big a fight. How does that fight go?

"Without talking to Manny first, I think the biggest he can fight is 150. So, like, he made catchweight at that. But can the other guy come down that far? I know (Canelo) came down to 152 for Mayweather, but it's a hard decision to make. But I think there's a lot of obstacles in the way that need to be cleaned up between Oscar's company and Top Rank. Hopefully, everything works out, though."

When's the last time Manny did a million buys? If Nelo can equal the numbers Manny did with Rios. It means his drawing power is pretty much a parallel with the 2014 Manny.
