How Did You Know A Fighter Was Going To Win When Every Thought He Was Done For?

    How the thread says.

I remeber after Salido getting beat by Garcia so badly people were saying that Cruz was going to beat him, I was saying no for two simple reason Its Mexico vs Puerto and Mexico always seems to Win lately and 2nd No way in hell would a Mexican want to Lose to a Puerto Rican let alone the First Admitted Gay one. Salido was going to come out with that W no matter what.

A bit off subject but I loved all the puns in the RBR thread for this fight.

''Wouldn't want to be the trainer who has to push in his stool''
''I've got cruz with a come from behind victory!''
    ''Cruz is on ***** St''

When Salido rehydrated up to 147 after failing to make weight vs Lomachenko I knew it was Salido's night. Coupled with the amazing amount of low blows he did so, "veteranly" if I may, in front of referee Laurence "Ray Charles" Cole.. I knew he would come out with the victory.

Nobody gave Pac a chance to beat DLH but if you watched DLH vs Forbes he came out with half his face battered against feather fisted Forbes. DLH was clearly a shell of himself. I didnt think he would of stopped him though, credit to Pac.

I picked Hopkins to beat Pavlik because I didn't think Kelly was the new star people were making him out to be, and besides his power, he was a very limited boxer. It's easy to point that out now, but before this fight the guy was getting hyped up like crazy. Also, B-Hop looked very hungry in the build up and his style was perfect for somebody like Pavlik. I recall the majority of people thinking that Pavlik was not only going to beat Hopkins, but he was going to be the first to stop him. I didn't think Hopkins would put on a masterclass like he did, I said he'd win a close fight, but I was confident Hopkins would win.

I think well over 50% of people picked Salido to win. No one thought much of Cruz, who did he really beat? The only reason he got that title shot was his gay cinderella story.

Btw LOL at the posters saying it's shameful to lose to a gay man. Being gay doesn't make you naturally weaker or less athletic.
