Why aren't you impressed... Grant it he hasn't faced top competition yet, but he looks like the best rican prospect since Juanma and cotto over a decade ago..

I think he has a lot of poise and I like his skill set... Will it translate into a hof career, I'm not sure, but the kid has potential

Very telegraphed punches, especially the left hook and suspect defends.

He has some physical gifts but he certainly isn't the next Puerto Rican star IMO, I won't have any problem being wrong though.

Yeah, good point about the telegraph punches, I have noticed that as well.... And defense is still an unknown since he really hasn't fought anyone yet. I can see him being like a jleon love and not handling pressure very well. That's a def possibility...

Does anyone here consider this Cornflake Lamanna as a serious prospect or is he just getting attention because of his nickname and his looks?

He is a legit prospect.. He isn't a blue chip, can't miss prospect, but the kid can fight, and with the proper matchmaking, he can make some noise

Those two definitely seem the real deal imo. I need to check out Mekhontsev.

I'd like to see Marcus Browne make it big because he is from my hometown. He is an olympian, 23 years old and 10-0 (7ko), but one of his fights which was a very small step up, he already had a pretty tough time. He's looked better in his 3 or 4 fights since (again against still very weak opposition)

Pretty Boy Bam Bam but he wont be pro for another 8 years.

He is the next Roy Jones/Floyd Mayweather though. Hopefully we'll get another in that time frame before him.
