    Do it!
the main problem with this is getting floyd to be on board with it.

Khan thinks Mayweather will fight outside of Vegas, against him of all people?

      Not a chance.

Amir Khan is ******ed. The fact that he even thinks Mayweather coming to the UK to fight him is a possibility just goes to show how delusional he is.

Same goes for the dumbass Brits posting in this thread trying to rationalize it. Yeah it'd sell 80K tickets as long as 50K of them cost 20 British Pounds or less.

Froch-Groves had 80K fan yet the live gate was US 9 million.

Floyd-Maidana had less than 15K fans yet the live gate was 20million.

So Froch-Groves had nearly 6 times as many fans and didn't generate even half the live gate of a Vegas based Mayweather fight. LMAO.

Yeah Floyd can go to the UK and fight in front of 80K as long as he is fine with pricing the tickets so low that every drunken chavva within 50 miles can attend.

You gotta love dumbass British boxingscene posters and their "Come to the UK and sell out Wembley" party line. I remember it was the same g@y **** from them about why Klitschko should come to London so David Haye can lay down like a b*tch at home on English soil.

Come on Emer Con he couldn't agree on gloves. He needs to fight in Vegas so that he has the judges in his back pocket just in case you beat him like Castillo and Madaina did

            Khan's inflated popularity?

I'm a Canadian and I follow the game pretty closely. I've heard that although AK is as famous in the UK as we in America are led to believe, his popularity trails by a distance. I don't have my own bead on it, but if that's true, can any UK fans enlighten us on whether there's a significant risk he could play to a half empty Wembley, even with Mayweather in the other corner?

              Mayweather would be the attraction.

Khan has a fan base, but generally he's not well liked in the UK. Mayweather would have the majority of the support.

He must have been asked about this at the Froch vs Groves fight. So, I hope he was just playing along. Floyd isn't coming to the UK, Khan's dreaming even if he think that it's a remote possibility. If he has any desire to bring a big name over, Pacquaio, would be the best option. He'll come and won't act like an idiot at the negotiating table or put in any bizarre stipulations. Khan needs to stay with Oscar and get a big named opponent. Even Rios over at the MEN would sell well.

What do you mean by 'popularity'? Selling tickets? Viewing numbers? How well they're known in the country? There's no chance that Khan vs Floyd wouldn't sell-out Wembley. But, it's never going to happen.

It would be huge no doubt but Mayweather seems very committed to MGM, I am positive they have some type of DEAL in place.

But yeah I think I would be great to see Mayweather go International, it would be something different at least.

Key words: "Floyd's talked a lot" All talk...Floyd will never leave the comfort of the NSAC...he has too much influence over them...

In fact, your boy Manny should be begging Khan for a fight. Manny could use some help on the PPVs. Then again Khan is probably too big for Manny, that's why Freedie wants Danny Garcia at 140.
Hi Floydiot...so you're saying that if Manny fights Garcia the guy KOed Khan that would be an easier fight and a duck than fighting Khan...got you..
