He was never a gbp fighter all they lost was their name appearing on the marquee alongside his. What GBP lost is a fee and nothing more if anything this gives them the wingspan to focus on making other stars from their stables which isn't that bad a thing. If Oscar can hold on to that stable he'll be just fine, he's already got televisa in his pocket.

Honestly, I think this is a dumb move by Floyd. Because if Oscar and Arum are smart and team up and play hardball with Floyd. Floyd really has no leverage.
what happens when Floyd puts up better numbers than Oscar and Bob's fighters?

It's definitely a risky move, but Floyd will still have all the leverage because outside of Canelo and Pacquiao, every other fighters will want to fight him and all he'd need is to co-promote the fight with another promoter who has no network contractual ties with HBO. At the end of the day, he'll likely to finish up his contract by fighting guys who are managed by Al Haymon. It all depends on how many of those well-known guys who are managed by Haymon are under multi-year contracts with GBP, that's where the main legal problem will come down to.

Floyd doesnt have very many fights left anyway. Let him leave. Continue business as usual.

You have to admit, even now that name on the marquee is still a big deal.

Who's under contract with GBP and who's not, that's the $ question. I love how these idiots are trying to make it seem like Floyd has no pool of fighters to choose from.

Yeah, this whole sitch is just crazy. Seems like Floyd is acting off emotion. But maybe he knows something we don't.

And your wrong about the GGG fight. Floyd would stop him in one round.

Not working with Mayweather will hurt GBP more for the simple fact that it was good to Have Mayweather so that you could help promote a young fighters like Canelo by putting him NEXT TO MAYWEATHER which helps introduce him to Casual Fan who only order Pacquiao or Mayweather events.

Sorry but I never ordered a PPV for the Promotion, I order them for the fighters. Oscar will have a lot of work to do building up new talent ON HIS OWN, something that he haven't really done yet. Canelo is still a work in Progress. Lara vs Canelo just got interesting, that is a interesting and important match up. If Lara beats Canelo...OSCAR IS SCREWED! Then who will he have as the face of GBP to hype up.

It is a relationship that worked so we shall see how this plays out so I think they all will take a hit somewhat without each other.
