Who cares when the ones signing Floyds checks aren't making money? Floyd is just like a rapper, they talk about all this **** they don't have but people believe it. The only thing Floyd controls is his persona, nothing more. There is a reason Showtime rushed the Floyd/Canelo, you can ever tell by those horrible scores the fix was in to make Canelo undefeated and defeat Floyd it would have made him a superstar. But he wasn't ready and they had to do that fight because Showtime was ****ing pissed at the Guerrero buys. This time it caused Schaefer to get fired, and now Floyd's stuck with no promoter and who knows who he is going to fight in 3 months, no one cares about the past it's what have you done for me lately and Floyds been going down like Manny vs JMM.

Yet Top Rank is still around, their fighters are the 2 and 3 biggest paid stars (Manny/Cotto) in the sport. And Floyd is the one now without a promoter and 2 out of his last 3 PPV's have flopped.... I can honestly say I'd rather be at Top Rank than with Al Haymon right now. All those guys that signed the passed year and now are thinking... I have to be on Floyd undercards for the next 2 years?Comment

It's all about money. And I believe delahoya lost a lot of money being that he owns Goldenboy promotions. He had no choice but to sack Schaefer. We're talking about millions of dollars lost here.Comment

His last two fights were with Top Rank weren't they? He's only had 2 professional fights without Top Rank hasn't he? He's called Top Rank "his company" and stated he is "back home now."
