That's hard to tell though. People know HBO not Showtime.

My sense is that it's growth its due to better shows lime Homeland or Masters of Sex.

I doubt Floyd causes people to sign up.

I'm pretty sure their is a non compete clause (standard is 1 year). Considering exec talent is hard to come by nowadays in Corp America.

All Schaefer did was resign his position - Big damn deal - People are really ignorant if you believe Oscar fired Schaefer or had anything to do with pushing Schaefer out. Schaefer knows his next move and having his shares in Golden Boy should let everyone know that this was all planned.

Dont know what they agreed to but time will tell us.
As far as Floyd and hayman go, why do u think they went through GBP? Not because Richard, it was because Oscar was the biggest draw.
GBP is still the biggest with or without Richard!
No actually I'm right. GBP is a California based company. Non compete clauses are invalid in cali. I did the research. There is no valid non compete that can be enforced against him.

It amazes me how the tards are applauding the split between Oscar and Schaefer, and one even referred to Arum as the "Bob Father." These fans are no fans of boxers at all. They cheer for the Arum's and Don King's because they think these folks have the fans' best interest. What about the boxers' best interest? Why did Oscar/Mayweather get dome after they both left Bob? Why did Mayweather/Cotto get done after they both left Bob? Why has Mayweather had the biggest PPVs after he left Bob? Why are Chavez Jr., Rigo, and Mikey Garcia all trying to get away from Bob? The needles, the cuts, the stadiums...all Bob. The no fight without extension...all Bob. No Mayweather/Pacquiao, No Garcia/Gamboa, No Chavez Jr./GGG...all Bob. Why are they cheering?

Initial profit is always the easier. Sustainability is the key. I doubt Showtime is hinging is financial health on the basis of.boxing.
The gains are gains. The point is maywrather didnt hurt abd a few analysts think it helped. Investors are not regretting it.

if most of haymon fighters who had fights under gbp but without the need of a promotional contract, that's a big sell out move by schaefer. he literally made gbp a "promoter for hire" company.
