Froch stops DeGale easy. For some reason DeGale thinks hes Andre Ward type boxer but he lays on the ropes too much and his defense isnt as good as he thinks.

I actually like both DeGale and Groves but I just think Froch is too proven and too much for both of them. If Groves couldnt beat Froch, DeGale definetly isnt.

DeGale should have convincingly beat Groves... he lost and his chance to fight Froch...

I have no problem with Froch taking the biggest fights for himself at his age and because of what he's accomplished..he must be considered for the HOF and deserves to finish out his career on his terms...

I'd take the Ward fight only if Ward takes a flat fee and comes to the U.K...that's the fight I would go for if I'm Froch...if not then I'd look at Triple G in Wembley or MEN, third choice would be Chavez in Vegas or NYC..and then fourth would be Kessler III in Wembley or MEN...

From a financial standpoint obviously Chavez is the biggest fight...

I think degale gives Froch a lot of problems first six rounds, after that no- one in the world has an easy time with Froch.

The degale in my sig is a legit threat to anyone at 168 not named Ward

DeGale demonstrating his lack of knowledge about mandatories and rating systems. I'm pretty sure that fight wasn't even an official eliminator, and he's naive to assume that he's due a shot because he's the highest-rated challenger.

He's no.3 according to their website (is it Chudinov and Nielsen fighting for that title that did that, btw, or are the IBF doing that to give Froch some room for big $$$ fights?), and if a sanctioning body doesn't find it convenient for you to be the mando, you have to really force them according to the letter of their law.

Put simply, DeGale won't get the fight until Froch goes to Vegas.

This was an official final eliminator. While the purse bids was on going wbc final eliminator the ibf ordered this fight between degale and gonzalez. However becoz froch won he will be able to ask for a voluntary defense. If groves won he would have had to fight degale immediately. Because froch fought back to back mandatories the ibf would give him and voluntary.

Ah, cheers, excuse mah ignorance. There still won't be a fight before Chavez, both Matchroom and the IBF have too much money to make from that fight rather than have Froch fight DeGale first, risk losing and then throw away Froch-Chavez PPV money. Although I do stress that I want Froch-DeGale to happen, mainly for the pleasure of watching DeGale getting sparked.

Degale won that fight against groves. It was a real close fight. The judging in that fight was bad. Not in who won but in the actual scoring. Two judges had it 115-114 meaning on round was scored 10-10. Degale at worse should hav got a draw.
