This past Saturday night at Wembley Stadium DeGale went right through unbeaten Brandon Gonzales in a final IBF eliminator. He started to do it in the Groves fight but then they gave the decision to Groves

DeGale like Groves is unproven in the championship rounds vs a elite fighter. Froch would probably get to him late.

Agreed its dreadful, but as pointed out he does that all the time.

Back on topic he doesn't deserve the payday. Also I think froch has elevated himself above titleholder level. He can now fight with no belts and it wouldn't make a difference.

Degale needs to get himself to beltholder level first before challenging Froch.

I hope Froch does not fight DeGale. I'm a fan of both and stylistically DeGale gives Froch a lot of problems.

Froch should fight Chavez and then finish his career against Kessler potentially.

I think Froch will vacate the IBF and DeGale will fight for the title. Let him pick that belt up and then work towards a Groves fight.
