'Floyd Mayweather vs. Danny Garcia Deal Almost Done For September 13 Clash' according to a few sources

WBC/WBA Super World/The Ring junior welterweight champion Danny Garcia has been presented with an offer to take on pound for pound king and WBC/WBA Super World/The Ring welterweight champion Floyd Mayweather - who is also the WBC/WBA Super World/The Ring junior middleweight champion - on September 13.

It is understood that a deal is very close and an announcement is imminent. Mayweather and Garcia will go on a major promotional tour to several cities to promote fight - accompanied by their fathers and trainers; Floyd Mayweather Sr. and Angel Garcia.

It is unclear whether Garcia would step up to 147lbs to challenge Mayweather for his welterweight titles, or whether Mayweather would drop down to the 140lbs division to challenge Garcia for his junior welterweight title. All will be confirmed in the imminent announcement.

I don't think this fight will happen. If it does it's a crap fight.

And let me set the record straight: it's a crap fight for Floyd and Manny. Danny gets busted up by both.

Wow. This fight blows. Mayweather conveniently finds another "great" match up for himself.

When's the last time Mayweather fought a guy with real speed?

            He loves fighting these plodders.

This is another fight that just looks good on paper, if you anything about the two boxers abilities you know this is a walk in the park for Mayweather.

Danny knows the time is now to cashout on top before he gets seriously exposed.

false rumors. Danny is a worse name and fight than Ghost, and that was pretty low.

A maidana rematch is 10x more marketable and a more challenging fight. Heck, even Amir Con is a better choice.

Wasn't Danny suppose to have one more fight at 140 before going to 47?? Or was the Herrera fight always suppose to be his last at 140? Regardless, I guess he wants to make the jump to make that quuck money after his subpar showing.
