Just because some one is in better shape than you does not mean they use steroids. How about you go work out, maybe you'll also look like you are roiding too if you put in the work he puts in.
Phil Heath.. Genetics huh?
Jay Cutler
Nobody in history looked like that. Guys who spend 15 hours a day doing nothing but eating and hard manual labor didn't look like that. PEDs are everywhere nowadays so we're used to it.Last edited by Fr3$h; 06-02-2014, 05:27 AM.

Frank Bruno is a good counter example, but I'll say two things:
1. I can't say with absolute certainty that Frank Bruno never took steroids and neither can anyone else.
2. I still don't have an ounce of doubt in my mind that Joshua is juicing.Last edited by dannnnn; 06-02-2014, 05:36 AM.

Back in the day no one used weight training for boxing.
Secondly its my opinion that building muscles with weight traning, can benefits from boxing, producing faster gains.
Weight training with heavy weight, and low reps builds muscle fibers, boxing is hypertrophy training, and going by the research of Lyle mcdonals, Layne norton, Alan aragon, Hypertrophy training, combined with heavy wight training works better for muscle building then either alone
Look at Holyfiled, and Haye, the both use lifting heavy with bag work, and the look like full-blown bodybuilders.

Yeah Holyfield has been linked with 2 or 3 different PED pharmacy busts. I remember one because he did a really bad job of hiding his identity, using the fake name "Evan Fields" and his home phone number.

Young Man with a genetic blueprint for muscular hypertrophy and a Mesomorphic predisposition combines a high protein diet and progressive strength training.
Young Man wins professional boxing match.
Young Man is a 'drug cheat' (completely unfounded accusation.)
Using NSB logic anyway...
AJ is a young man, already an Olympic Gold Medalist - why on earth would he take PED's to win a fight picked to pad his resume at the very beginning of his career?
There is no risk / reward factor here - no advantage to be had by taking PEDs.
If he was taking PEDs then the risk of getting caught could seriously damage a lucrative career, before it had already started.
He is not like JMM, in the twilight of his career, needing an edge to remain competitive.

Yeah because some butthurt former drug user dude, with viking helmet on youtube says so!!!
You do realize that when layne norton competed, he voluntarily did year round testing ?
Are there many fitness models promoting supplements that take drugs ?, yes, but you can't take that concept, and use that as proof that everyone, (that have busted there ass in the gym for decade) with a good fysic is now a full on drug user, unless you are a gullible idiot.
Still it has nothing to do with have bodybuilding and hypertrophy training works in synergy.
This is me age 35, 27 % body fat, I have only lifted wights for around year, and have a shoulder injury soo can't go full on, and I rarely workout more then 2 times a week, and i don't use supplements , yet alone drugs.
What if I had lifted wights and trained professionally of decades, I would look at least as big a haye.
And btw I naturally punch like a horse kicks
