Incorrect. He was ahead on the cards.

    Try again.

Did Froch win consecutive championships or the Olympics?

LOL....hey, you got to have some fun in life. You guys are just supporting your favorite boxers and I'm just stirring up the pot. If you really want unbiased posting, NSB is hardly the place to find it. NSB is the free for all for fans to support their fighters at all costs. I'd hope that most here honestly and truly know that 98.8% of boxers that make it to the TV level (HBO, Showtime) are not "bums", "scrubs", etc. and they put their lives on the line for this sport we watch as entertainment. That should just be an understood thing up front.

Now, that does not mean that in the spirit of fun and competitive fan based sportsmanship, we don't come on here and discredit other posters' preferred boxers to the advantage of the ones that we support. It's NSB and it gives us bragging rights when we are correct.

            Now that being said:

            Sergio>GGG
            Calzaghe>Froch

Not one elite fighter there. Half of them are journeymen and a couple made decent challengers. Ironically Pascal is the best fighter on that list and Froch soundly beat him.

golovkin would do scary damage to martinez. i love martinez, but we have to be realistic. he's looked ancient lately. he doens't move well enough to box golovkin, and his power isn't enough to bail him out when his legs aren't there.

                mid round stoppage.

Ahead on those biased cards...not on my cards. Froch had only won 2 rounds on my cards and was starting to pick up momentum but I thought Groves' jab activity was clearly controlling the fight. Every eye-catching punch was landed by Groves...he threw more punches and had a higher connect percentage as well...I thought Groves was clearly ahead.

                    Froch Groves

                    Landed 96 126
                    Thrown 349 314
                    Pct 28% 40%

Froch is a "big draw" as the HBO commentators repeatedly mentioned through out the broadcast. This is a business and the more marketable fighter will almost always get all the edges when it comes down to it.

Then we have to take into account the total scrubs that Golovkin fights.

Do you seriously think Froch is some skinny 8 foot Japanese punching bag with a glass jaw?. Or is he the fat three foot Brooklyn midget?. Golovkins record is a joke.
