Bad fight for Froch. If he wins, Golovkin was just another one-dimensional, soft chinned slugger. If he loses, it would more than likely be by devastating KO and where does he go form there?

Froch will KO GGG whilst fighting Chavez Jr in between rounds.

I have all the respect in the world for Carl, he's done more with less than any fighter I can think of. Golovkin doesn't have the resume, but he's got more talent and skill than Froch can dream of. Carl would have his moments but for the most part Golovkin would just hammer him.

Are you implying GGG has no skills because he didn't win a gold? Floyd got a bronze btw. Do you have any idea how difficult to qualify for the Olympics? I don't think so. And btw Roy Jones Jr and Eddie Hern believe GGG would be a very difficult opponent for Froch. Jr. even thinks Froch would be underdog Suck it up.

Let us not get too carried away now, GGG doesn't have the resume Froch does, may be he never will but he does have power and decent skill. He passes the eye test, from what I've seen, he has a lot of tools to do great things but he lack areal testing opponent. Geale is a great start.

If the fight was to happen this year, I'd favour Froch, he is too big, too strong and quite skilled himself.

Then we have to take into account the total scrubs that Golovkin fights.

Do you seriously think Froch is some skinny 8 foot Japanese punching bag with a glass jaw?. Or is he the fat three foot Brooklyn midget?. Golovkins record is a joke.
GGG is bigger and technically better than Groves. He also hits harder, cuts off the ring better and has more pop in his punches. GGG would beat Froch, who was getting schooled like he was against Ward until he knocked Groves out. It was a good win, but he is no different than Sergio Martinez, just bigger. He fights with his hands down and has terrible defense, this doesn't make you unbeatable by any means. A strong puncher with great technique will beat him, Andre Ward did and GGG would probably knock Froch out.

He'd be on the smallish side though at 168 compared to Froch, Jr, Ward and all of the ither BIG super middles. Still, if he wants the glory he'll do it. It's what every great fighter this gen has done outside of Ward who actually had competition to face in his own division.

GGG SEEMS he'd beat Froch due to seeming more skilled... But EVERYONE seems like theyd beat Froch and everyone also looks to be more skilled than Froch..yet it never turns out that way
You make a very good point. Everyone looks like they should beat Froch on paper.

I haven't seen GGG have to ADJUST to a good fighter. Eventually we all meet someone who is good or better than we are. It doesn't mean you loose the fight. Its all about understanding what makes your opponent good and what makes your opponent average and adjusting. Froch can adjust far better than average. GGG is dam good but unproven in ELITE COMPETITION.

froch had a decent amateur career, but to compare it to golovkin, a high level international competitor with one of the better amateur resume of all time at middleweight, is silly.

you saw how crazy they went over a fight for second place. they don't even want a ward fight.
you aren't routing for fighters. you're not boxing fans. you're cheering for yourselves.
