I don't see the point in threads like this. There was a conclusive ending to this one, and Froch did BETTER in this fight than he did in the first. He didn't get dropped and he didn't get caught with crazy shots all night.

Most of the early rounds were close with hardly anybody connecting anything. Groves is delusional or is reaching by trying to spin the narrative into "I was dominating him and simply made a mistake". No Groves, what happened was that you didn't do as well as you did in the first fight and you didn't get to drop Froch. Instead he got to drop you.

    End of conversation.

      Exactly.

Groves did not look like much anyway the other night, he was too tight and I thought he looked way better and more relaxed in the first fight. I think the kid could not handle the pressure of 80 000 fans and everything else in the hype of the build up, and as I said pre fight Froch would win it on his experience alone. Posters like the OP need to STFU and just accept that the kid Groves got KTFO. Froch is the MAN at 168.

What's wrong with posting scorecards even if the fight ended with a KO? It's not like it diminishes the stoppage or anything, I think the OP was just curious how everybody had it scored because some of the rounds were close.

          Score doesn't really matter.

Groves was winning, but that's the difference between a championship fight. Winning through 7 rounds is nice, but there's still 5 more.

I think I had it 4 rounds to 3 for Groves

I'm a huge Froch fan and could not have been happier with the ending but Groves was well ahead if you know how to score at all. But hey, amazing ending and exactly what I had hoped for. Great night to be a Froch fan.

I had Groves up 4-3. Thought his work was cleaner and scored more punches. I did notice that he was more vulnerable this time around as he was backing to the ropes which wasn't really a good idea imo.

Froch looked a lot more composed, strong, spiteful - but also like a guy in slight decline.

But ultimately it doesn't matter as Groves got completely splattered.

I gave Groves Rounds 2 and 7.. And the 8th until he got sparked.

Froch owned the center of the ring and was landing more power shots.
Froch was also at times winning the battle of the jab.

Very different fight from the first one.

Groves is a clever man in the ring and this time he was trying to beat Carl at his own game.. Coming on stronger as the fight progressed, but Groves simply cannot handle the power of Froch and two fights clearly prove this.
As much as Groves is a pure boxer with some pop of his own.. I think he might have chin issues.

I thought Froch was ahead in a close fight & Groves was coming on but I'm a Froch fan so maybe I being biased but who cares when the right hand closes the show WAR Froch
