Comments Thread For: Carl Froch Knocks Groves Out With Massive Shot

Froch is aware that he's old and slow-- since long ago... The guy is smart and straightforward inside and outside the ring. Froch said he felt like pickpocketed by Ward and that he doesn't need another experience in the ring with your slick boy... At least the pelican-nosed guy spoke candidly...
Froch maybe is not a monument of boxing, but he's a monument of boxing in the UK for sure...Comment

Just one more thing.
Froch proved before that he doesn't hold a one-punch KO power -- that is why he barely threw straight rights... The ugly kid also knew it -- that is why he looked so confident at Froch's right hand just before the KO... He expected another hooky right from Froch... Then, the unprecedented eventually happened: Froch simulated a left hook, cut the space and threw the straight right onto Grove's jaw. So simple.Comment

Groves paid the price for being a bit predictable. He was trying too hard to land that counter left hook. I bet inbetween rounds Rob McKraken said to Carl to throw a left hook right cross because Groves would try to counter and be wide open.Comment

its ironic that groves was saying in the build up that froch is technically terrible,
so in reply froch lands one of the best one punch knockouts,
you dont get much more technical then that
