Another one on Virgil hunter's fighters gets exposed. I swear he's the most overrated trainer ever

Virgil can't fight for these guys - you win some you lose some! But it seems that the word exposed gets thrown around too loosely like its a hash tag amongst novice fight fans. When a boxer loses, it does not mean they got exposed (all of the time) When Marquez got beat by Manny did he get exposed? What about Hopkins losing to Roy Jones Jr. did B-hop get exposed? What about Duran getting KO'd by Tommy hit man Hearns, did he get exposed? Evander Holyfield vs Rid**** Bowe 1 did Holyfield get exposed ? STFU, good fighters go back to the gym and work on their flaws, fighters that get exposed are perceived as threats and get shut down and look like pootie cats never to be heard from again (Nassem Hamed is a perfect example) I liked Nassem, but Barrera exposed him and he was never heard from again..

This right here is all that needs to be read.

This is what British boxing is all about, damage control. It's almost like as soon as you get hurt, you've lost. Which I don't agree with but there's always two sides to the argument.

Despite this and Mitchell's fight having some controversy regarding the stoppage, it wasn't like the home fighter was in a similar situation and allowed to continue.

Terrible stoppage even if I think DeGale was on his way to a legit ko win but this was a fight between a top 10 rated and probably top 15 rated guy so Gonzales should have been given the chance to turn it around.

            It was a bad stoppage.

I do think DeGale would have ended it in the next 10-15 seconds, but it should have been allowed to happen.

I agree it was premature, however the fight itself was a complete mismatch, Gonzales was being completely outclassed.

I do think Americans need to realise that fights are stopped sooner in this country though. As with anything where people are involved mistakes are occasionally made and I'd much rather see a fight stopped too early than what we've seen too often recently on the other side of the Atlantic where fighters are getting serious injuries or even killed. The BBoBC has an excellent record in recent times for fighter safety and if that means an occasional fight being stopped early, I can live with that.

Premature stoppage, but good performance by DeGale. He looked sharp and scored an excellent knock-down.
Looked good on a bigger stage.

I agree, starting to come around to him now, he looked kinda good in his last fight but I was unsure. Think he maybe lacks spite. Hope he does well though, i'm coming round to liking him

Like I've been saying the whole time, DeGale is the real deal.

Regal Degal is like a speedster clubber who's tough to get a beat on lots of twitches/movements stops/starts he does go to the ropes to often but gets too much flack he's a tough out.
