In a final IBF super middleweight eliminator, Olympic gold medal winner James DeGale (19-1, 13KOs) picked up a premature four round stoppage of previously undefeated Brandon Gonzales (18-1-1, 10KOs).
DeGale started off fast and was landing good punches. Gonzales came back in the second with hard shots to the body. The third was even, but DeGale exploded in the fourth. He landed a fury of shots to send Gonzales down. Gonzales was back on his feet, trying to survive the round while DeGale was trying to finish. The referee jumped in and waved off the fight as Gonzales jumped back from a DeGale combination.
