Glen Johnson scheduled to fight Ilunga Makabu

    Just seen this on Boxrec

I feel a bit saddened by this. Someone needs to protect Glen from himself.

This fight will also take place in the Republic of Congo. Glen Johnson really needs to retire. This is ridiculous.

Johnson still has the skills to beat most B level fighters. Maybe he just enjoys boxing, it's been his job for a long time. And fact is he's only ever been TKOd once, by B-Hop - 17 years ago!

I didn't catch his Fonfara and Groves fights. Did he take much punishment in those?

Yes he took a sustained beating in both. He ate some monster shots from Groves along the ropes. Dropped in about the 11th or 12th against Groves but it was more a balance shot if I recall right.
