Sounds like bad officiating to me... I mean seeing on twitter that they scored it out of 5 rounds after 4.....how is that even possible?

it's a bad cut on the inside of the eyelid. the shadiness comes from the officials prolonging the fight until the 5th round so that they can award donaire the win rather than making it a no contest.

It was an awful cut, really bad. And now that you mention it, they did say 49-46, which makes no sense. Maybe the announcer got it wrong, I don't know.

It was shady, plain and simple. Like the fight was going to get stopped after Donaire got the KD and sealed the scorecards in his favor.
