Maidana has success in fights not only because of grit and power, but because he can alternate between straight and wide punches and has a very nice jab. His in ring cunning is also underestimated as all getout.

I'm willing to discuss Devon to a point. About that I would say Maidana had not yet learned his lesson about that particular brand of fighter and not to give an inch, even in the clinch. Overshadowing such a conversation, however, is the irrefutable fact that for a menagerie of reasons, Maidana was clearly not at his best that night. I assumed we were talking Maidana would be fighting Pac at or around the same level and intensity he fought Floyd. No?
Maidana couldn't KO a blown up Broner or Khan with the glass chin, he gets significantly slower by the second half of the fight and gets hurt badly in almost every one of his fights. I like Maidana but he's made to order for Pac.

Broner is a tough guy. Had an air of invincibility prior to the Maidana fight and had it shattered.... And Chino could barely find his range with Khan... That's why I said its imperative for Maidana to find his range if he fights PAC....

Maidana may get hurt.. Though I think his chin has improved at WW... But he has never been stopped. In addition, when Maidana is hurt it only makes him more dangerous.

Picked pac....too much speed and angles....his power is good just not concussive as 140 and below...never saw maidana battered and bruised but manny will do it, this isnt the pac of old so ud decision

Manny hasnt faced a fighter with the power of maidana....if maidana fights the right range then ut could be lights out via over hand right in a war. Foresure barnburner

Maidana would counter Pacman and stop him early in a thriller.

Bradley stunned him in their last fight. If Maidana connects at least one solid shot it could mean lights out. If it goes the distance Pac wins.

I see Maidana wrecking Pacquiao and mauling him to the ropes and having Roach throw in the towel.

I see Maidana walking into something while trying to maul Pac which sends him to the canvas.

He may not get KO'd but he'll get KD'd with that approach.

If Khan can do it with a body shot, Pac can do it with a straight left or combination.
