Pac is not Floyd, he comes to fight. He is fast but i believe Maidana has more tools than people here think to catch Pac with a hard punch within the twelve rounds and change the fight.

Maidana would stop Pacquiao in 4 rounds. Pacquiao comes forward and has porous defense.

I see Maidana walking into something while trying to maul Pac which sends him to the canvas.

He may not get KO'd but he'll get KD'd with that approach.

If Khan can do it with a body shot, Pac can do it with a straight left or combination.

I think if Pacman knocks Maidana down he will get back up and become even more dangerous.

I'd favor Manny but a Maidana win is not out of the question.

At welterweight Manny has not fought many fighters that are as awkward as Maidana and subtlely clever.


People look at him as some skill-less brawler but he is one tough SOB, has developed a very good jab, actually has good timing when he is patient and hits like a mule


Manny is not great at fighting going backwards....Maidana will cut off the ring, and not just follow him around like Rios.


Look at the fights Manny lost, when he is not the aggressor, he stuggles....Marquez is a fighter who will get you immediately after you land on him and put Manny on the defensive enough to land his own shots....Morales beat him the first time, using his jab and cutting off the ring making Manny have to hold him off.

If Pacquaio boxes and picks his spots he'd win easy....if anything near a barnburner starts, look out because I don't see Manny eating too many of those flush overhand rights.

If it goes to the cards, Pac will win no matter what. But I do think Marcos has a legitimate shot at beating him. Marcos isn't just a slugger like some think. He can catch Pac with those awkward shots.

pacquiao's defense isn't the greatest, and since being ko'd im not sure many people can hold that great a confidence in his chin, so maidana has a punchers chance

otherwise stylewise pacquiao is exactly what has wiped the floor(atleast with alexander) with maidana through-out his career, a combination punchers, who turns him

maidana also doesn't have the greatest level of durability, and pacquiao not only hits alot harder than floyd, he will touch maidana alot more than mayweather did
