What could have been with Ike Ibeabuchi

I personally think if he didn't go crazy, he runs the HW division for as long as his prime was supposed to be, and still holds onto the undisputed moniker for a long while after.

He was legit. Would have been the man when Lewis retired.

He would've beat Lewis, and I know that with every fiber of my being. OK, not every fiber of my being, but I'd have him as the odds on favorite.

This might sound like hyperbole, but imagine a guy that was more devastating than Tyson, IMO, that also had an elite gas tank, and never faded, all while keeping the same punch output, and elite durability. That's who Ike was.

Is he out of jail or not? There was reports that he was out but then they said no.

Still in jail. Just looked it up. Says he was transferred to another prison.

He was a very good fighter but a very bad person. He may or may not have ruled the heavyweights if he had controlled himself and dedicated himself to boxing. I am glad things went the way they did. The K brothers are both good fighters and good people. It's possible one or both of them would have been able to beat a prime Ibeabuchi. He had some close wins and was not unbeatable. I am not saying I am glad he is in jail but he put himself there. I would rather the heavyweight champ be someone I like and admire.

Any version of Vitali definitely beats Ike, young Wlad might have had problems. The two biggest wins for Ike were v small heavies who he could get up close and brawl with. Tua and Byrd would be unlike the brothers for obvious reasons. Vitali would use his size and awkwardness to break down Ike and stop him late or win a decision, and current Wlad would probably also stop him late after landing a ****-ton of crushing jabs and probably clinching...although Ike was strong as an ox. In any case, Ike didn't have a notable win v any huge guys so there's no real basis for saying he could beat the Klitschkos' or Lewis.
