Golovkin has never had a million dollar pay day in his life and would jump at that kind of money, yet Barker was clearly the easier fight to secure such legacy against.
Not only does Felix promote himself thus earning a lot more than GGG ever has to date,he is HUGE at home, far bigger than GGG ever will be in Germany.will GGG ever earn the figures Felix has ? Not without Martinez he won't,and undoubtedly not against Quacklin either.
So who needs who more,Felix needing GGG or GGG needing Felix ? I don't think Felix will lose any sleep over any saying he ducked GGG,the dude is 35 and clearly beyond his peak.the fight would prove zero at this stage of his career anyway?

Murray appears to heading towards Golovkin in Monte Carlo,Febuary.
Originally posted by JmH Reborn View PostWho cares if he stays in Germany? He sells out stadiums and ish - I hope you guys are asking American fighters to travel abroad. Still waiting for marquee fighters to travel abroad and defend their "world" titles.
If you're a fan enjoy - if not - move on. Sturm is a $$ man in Germany - why aren't the other champs traveling there for the payday and shot?

Great post.green sent.
Anyway, I think Macklin was possible because they had a deal in place before Soliman got his mando
