Can't blame him considering what happened the last time he left Germany...

Lets talk facts.Barker was paid a million to travel to Germany,as so that Felix could be recognised as the first four time world champion hailing from Germany.thats legacy !

Golovkin has never had a million dollar pay day in his life and would jump at that kind of money, yet Barker was clearly the easier fight to secure such legacy against.

Not only does Felix promote himself thus earning a lot more than GGG ever has to date,he is HUGE at home, far bigger than GGG ever will be in Germany.will GGG ever earn the figures Felix has ? Not without Martinez he won't,and undoubtedly not against Quacklin either.

So who needs who more,Felix needing GGG or GGG needing Felix ? I don't think Felix will lose any sleep over any saying he ducked GGG,the dude is 35 and clearly beyond his peak.the fight would prove zero at this stage of his career anyway?

Agreed.the Murray one Felix won IMO,Macklin was somewhat questionable.I think if we see a Felix win tomorrow night, then he will rematch Macklin, personally I hear it rankles him and he wants to prove he is better than Macklin.set the record straight so to speak.

Murray appears to heading towards Golovkin in Monte Carlo,Febuary.

If you're a fan enjoy - if not - move on. Sturm is a $$ man in Germany - why aren't the other champs traveling there for the payday and shot?

definitely think it's possible Macklin gets another chance. Sturm was talking up a unification with Martinez/Cotto, but he has to travel for both. Martinez also got one fight left and there's only one unification they want.

Anyway, I think Macklin was possible because they had a deal in place before Soliman got his mando

The Macklin fight appeared inevitable, yet the IBF stepped in and enforced Soliman.yeah I wanna see it too though,I think Sturm will do a better number this time.

I wouldn't be surprised to see him or Murray next. Both were being aimed at... hell, I even heard Mora, but mostly aimed at Macklin since they already had the deal in place.... I think Macklin will be next... or Geale

I'd like to see a few rematches between Sturm and Geale,Macklin and mate Murray too.ive pretty much resigned myself to the fact Felix isn't leaving Germany and at his age he isn't aiming to take on the likes of the level of ODLH now.as cool as a Martinez or GGG fight would be I wouldn't favor Felix.I would love to see a Quacklin unification though,I very much doubt Peter would travel though, the pay day would be a career high for him though the least dangerous too,you never know huh.
