I am glad they are looking out for Pacquiao's health. PEOPLE FORGET he is a SMALL guy @ 5'6 with 67" arm reach ... Canelo is 5'9 with 71" and Mayweather is 5'8 with 72"... (A BIG REASON WHY MAYWEATHER IS HARD TO HIT, HE HAS A LONG LONG REACH FOR A 5'8 GUY AT 147lbs). I Like Pacquiao vs. Garcia. I really just think we as fans need to try to push a good matchup against a golden boy fighter for Pacquiao, just to really start to put an end to this cold war. And any boxing fan knows that the two people that can end the cold war are Pacquiao vs (ANY GOLDEN BOY FIGHTER) or Mayweather vs (ANY TOP RANK FIGHTER).

I find it very ironic that Floyd worshipers are more concerned with the irony of Manny asking for VADA blood-testing rather than the fact that Floyd refused blood-testing against Manny when Manny asked for VADA and Floyd reportedly asked for waivers from failed drug tests from USADA...seems more ironic to me that Floyd would refuse more blood-testing...

Manny should have come up with his own shirt around the time Floyd said only USADA" "Take the VADA tests!"

Please explain why a company that has been in business less than 5 years should be chosen over a company that has been doing this for 15 and is used for the Olympics?

Yes it does! Mayweather included, and that's from a Mayweather fan. I'd rather see all the "Junior" and "Super" BS gone! Welterweight: 140-149. Middleweight: 150-159, etc. I heard it used to be that way back in the day, and it needs to go back...too many damn belts!

Just wondering...who does Koncz speak for? Who is his boss? So I guess Pac will come out with a statement refuting what Koncz is saying. Yes...Cotto over 150, Mosley at 147 and Martinez at 150. It's not that he has never shied away from going toe to toe with anyone, its that he is not held accountable by many people!

Packy fans, make sense of this logic!

If Cotto got dominated by Packy, and Arum himself said he was offering Cotto $13 million for a rematch which wasn't necessary and Packy didn't need. What makes koncz think Marquez will accept anything less than $13 million if Packy needs the fight and it is the biggest money maker for Arum. Basically, Packy is pricing himself out of a fight in which he won't cut part if his purse to get Marquez to fight him. This is my prediction, Pac gets KOed by Marquez, Maidana, Provodnikov, Mathyse, García. Pac gets decisioned by Floyd, Khan. Same outcomes for Marquez against all these guys. Pac not the same of old. Marquez not fast enough now.

The cold war is ending, but the matchups are not shaping out how I thought. I think Thurman is the wild card. It was reported that Thurman walked from Porter negotiations as a plan B for Brook/Porter. Why would he do that? Who would he turn down a shot at Porter for?
