If this fight can sell 10k in Omaha, Nebraska there's no way anyone can tell me a Cuban in Miami won't sell same numbers.Comment

Just looked these facts up real quick: population of the state of Nebraska, <2 million; population of the state of Nevada, <3 million; population of Omaha, >400,000; population of Las Vegas, ~600,000. So, for sheer numbers, both the state of Nevada and Sin City outnumber their counterparts...and that's not even taking into consideration the masses of tourists not counted in the census.Comment

But you'd fly to Omaha for it?

my point is Vegas has a lot of people that travel there for fights. Crawford is from Nebraska and has the built in base fans that can drive to the fight.
I can't see another venue where this particular fight would draw as many fans, especially if its the headlining fight.Comment

Crawford fighting one of the best around in his hometown. I would have been surprised if it didn't sell well there cant be that many great boxers or big events in nebraska right now. Smart move imo.Comment

When there is a good fight and not a mismatch the fans show up to watch a competitive fight. Glad the fight sold 10K in Nebraska but I'm not surprised because no knock on Nebraska but what more is there to do out there??
WAR GAMBOA!!Comment
