ODH is a recovering addict who less than a year ago had a significant relapse, so much so that he checked himself into rehab on the eve of the biggest event in the sport in many years.
Ask any recovering addict-every day is a struggle.
I dont think Oscar knows what he is doing and looking at the long-term picture
what he's doing is he's thinking about the fans. it's rare these days to see any of these big time promoters think about us.
whether this may work in his favor or not, it's at least very admirable that he's willing to put aside the promotional feud and give us fans the fights we want to see.
it's just a shame that people like schaefer are willing to continue on the cold war.
I don't think I'm above anyone. I think I'm above following the crowd. And truth is it's the internet. No1 knows who no1 is talking to. Think about that for a sec.
I find it funny how you boast about receiving an education but it took me 3 tries to try and understand wtf you were saying.

Dont kid yourself Oscar is thinking about money he doesnt give a **** ass about you or me.
So I wonder what happens to fighters that are with Al Haymon but also have a GBP contract??
I don't know how many fighters are signed to multi-fight contracts with GBP. You'd probably need to know that for a start before you could tell how turbulent things would get when it comes to match-making.
The real issues would start when a fighter's GBP contract expires. I think that in all likelihood you'd see bidding wars between Haymon's new outfit and Golden Boy as they try to tie fighters down.
That underlines the importance of investment for any new company that emerges. Even more than has been the case recently, the promotional firms would have to splash some cash. Of course that brings HBO's and Showtime's strategies into the equation as well.
