Manny wins this easily. Garcia's people won't even take this fight though. They don't believe in him enough to throw him in their with true A-level guys, even aging ones. They'd rather have him be an undefeated champion earning B-level paydays.

I'm sorry, but only the dedicated boxing fans here on NSB who constantly scour the tv and internet looking for fights to watch are not the vast majority of the fans. If you lift your head up from your computer once in a while, you will realize that those who watch up-and comers do not constitute the majority of boxing fans - you sir, are in the minority.

The vast majority of fans who will pay to watch a boxing match, are interested in known fighters, because their name means something, and they can relate to the drama of their lives in some way. Again, Danny Garcia is an undefeated champion who has been in the dramatic fights and has knocked out Khan, Morales, defeated Judah, Matthysse, Holt. He has a massive and growing following within the US and especially within the Puerto-Rican communities. Now, how does Garcia's resume and profile compare against...Porter, and who was that other guy?

Maybe i'm underestimating the fanbase of Danny Garcia. My wife is from PR and before Danny's last fight in PR, most Puerto Ricans, especially women, didn't know who Danny Garcia was. That just my experience. They know who Cotto is, they know who JuanMa is, but Danny Garcia...not so much. Did you just give props for beating Zab and Morales? Really? I like Danny alot. He has surprised me more than once. But I think he should call out Broner or Amir Khan before steppin' to Manny. Anyway, he didn't call out Manny, Freddie is the one who started this.

Pac vs Swift would be a great fight IMO. Both have been vulnerable lately, and both bring it. Wouldn't mind seeing Porter, Khan et al, but to me the most interesting fight would be Garcia.

After seeing Hererra do so well against him ( i thought he beat Danny) Roach now wants to fight Danny. Typical.

If its at 140-not likely given swift is moving up-it would be a better fight than at 147 IMO. If they make it, I'll watch.

It's understandable that your wife doesn't know him yet because he is after-all born in the US. I am giving him props in beating well-known fighters. They all help in building up the fighter's resume and profile. I also forgot to include that Garcia also beat Nate Campbell.

I just looked up Thurman, and their only opponents that may have some recognition is Karass. For Porter it's Malignaggi and Alexander. They don't have the career profiles to be considered for prime-time yet.

Typical is a good word, but inadequate. Bull**** might be better. I can't see how you can overlook Thurman, Porter, and Maidana, and come up with DANNY GARCIA. Just yesterday, Roach was saying Canelo could be done at 150. I knew then he didn't want it, because he knows Canelo can't make 150. I still think Broner would be a better matchup with Manny at 140 than Garcia. Garcia looked real average in PR against Herrera.

I like Porter but dude needs few more fights.

You can bring up Maidana cuz he's a beast, has a name and did well against Floyd. But Danny is IMO a better boxer, he's undefeated, has a better record.
If you compare Danny and Marcos performances against an old Morales and Kahn. Danny did a lot better.

Danny has speed and pop so I like this fight. The 24 7 with Roach and daddy garcia would be great.

Boner is not competitive at 147.
