I'm not playing ****** in the least.

These numbers aren't bad for being in a secondary market. Especially if they go along with higher numbers and high attendance in the country where the fight was actually held.

Why do you point to the "afternoon show" thing as an excuse, but don't allow Memorial Day holiday + Showtime having less subscribers as an excuse?

HBO didn't even air a new episode of Game of Thrones on Memorial Day weekend. That's how big of an effect it has.

And I bet they would air it during Thanksgiving weekend too.
Also you talking about less subscribers, then trying to compare ESPN numbers in the afternoon to Froch/Groves 2?
I mean do you seriously see no difference between afternoon and evening?

Ahhhh screw it, stay salty man.

Someone posted an article the other day showing that the weekend after Thanksgiving isn't a ratings killer to the extent that Memorial Day is. There is something like a 10% drop off between the two.

My point is why are people willing to accept the excuses for lower ratings for one fight but not for the other? It all comes down to the fighter they like getting preferential treatment in my eyes.
