David Haye vs Canelo, who's really the coward?

How can you guys call David Haye a "coward", yet call Canelo a "warrior"? Let's compare their performances against Wlad and Floyd respectively.

David Haye fought Wladimir Klitschko, a giant who outweighed Haye by at least 30-40 pounds on fight night and has the power to render Haye unconscious with one punch. Yet David Haye gave it all he could, catching Wlad with some big shots and making Wlad hold on for dear life in the 12th round. Unfortunately David went into the fight with a broken toe and could not push off the back foot, so alot of his hayemakers fell just short of crushing Wlad's chin. However, although David lost all the rounds, many of the rounds were extremely close and really could have gone either way, with Wlad just barely edging it out.

Haye was the one going for the knock out that night against Klitschko who clinched and held on for dear life.

Canelo on the otherhand, outweighed the pillow-fisted Floyd by 20 pounds on fight night, yet starting from the opening bell Canelo fought like a scared puppy. It was pathetic to watch. Canelo was far bigger and far stronger than Floyd, yet he never committed to his offense and was pulling his punches the whole night. He gave little Floyd far too much respect. In reality, if Canelo had given Floyd no respect and went for broke, he may have beaten Floyd, as the smaller Maidana had demonstrated. Canelo was SHUT OUT for 12 rounds and none of the rounds were close.

Canelo was far heavier and stronger than Floyd and yet it was Floyd who was going for the knock out.

So tell me again, how is Haye a coward yet Consuelo a warrior? Double-standards much? Canelo claimed he was "born ready" against Floyd and that all of Mexico will never forget September 14th, yet after the fight no one criticized him for his boastful talk like they did to Haye. Why?

Hell, Haye took Wladimir's right hand right on the jaw, and continued fighting back. Canelo gets tapped by Floyd and retreats to a corner. And people say that Haye has a glass chin while Canelo has an ATG beard smfh.

neither one is anything close to a coward. they not only both fight for a living but have reached the top of that profession as world champions. anyone calling them cowards behind the safety of a computer screen is not only a true coward but a complete moron for not realizing how ridiculous they come across.

whats next? are all scientists ******s because they havent invented a fool proof cure for cancer yet? yet mr couch potato is a genius for doing absolutely nothing in the matter himself.. makes sense..

Weird comparison but you're giving Haye far too much credit for his dismal showing against Wlad. He spent most of the build up disrespecting all of Wlad's previous opponents and fought more scared than most of them.

Not a Klitschko fan at all but your comments on that fight are delusional.

Neither fighter you talk about is even close to being a coward and I agree Canelo's showing against Floyd was pretty poor although if we're comparing the fights, I think Canelo did better against Floyd than Haye did with Wlad. Had more success during the fight, won more rounds, took the loss a lot better, didn't embarass himself and didn't come out with some of the most ridiculous excuses ever heard from a fighter.

Haye fought a cowardly fight after talking ten tons of crap about knocking Wlad's head off and you bringing Canelo into it won't change that fact. You are clearly an over the top Haye fan. You are really trying hard to defend him by bring in Canelo who has nothing at all to do with Haye. People saw what they saw in Haye's disgraceful fight with Wlad and nothing you say will change even one person's mind about it. Haye ran all fight and hardly threw any punches and he fell down on purpose about 100 times. Haye has fought many good fights so you should talk about those fights instead of reminding every one about his very poor showing in the Wlad fight. Canelo fought a ****** fight against Mayweather but he threw a fair amount of punches and came forward the whole fight. He didn't run away from Floyd like a scared rabbit the way Haye did in the Wlad fight.

Haye talked a lot of crap about how he was going to destroy Wladimir then fought about as cautiously as he could, which was not the way to beat Wladimir. I wouldn't call him a coward, but he made quite a **** out of himself.

Wlad is always going to beat a smaller fighter looking to counter, you have to press the action. Although Corrie Sanders beat him by countering, he was much more aggressive and Wladimir got aggressive himself when he should've eased up instead.

Haye's performance on the night was not so bad really. it was his mouth that got him into trouble, he talked so much crap before the fight and then didn't deliver on it. If he had been respectful in the build up etc etc and had then been out pointed in one of wlad's more competitive recent fights I don't think anybody would have given him a hard time.
