Mayweather and Pacquiao are not on the same planet in skill or raw talent. Not even close. This thread is an insult to Floyd.

Read your own post. You stated that he developed technical skills. He had that already. Even when he was aggressive he was very technical and got hit very little in the way in. Even counterpunching very aggressively.

Jr Jones simply had his number. I was following Barrera for a long time before the Jr Jones fight. He simply got more and more offensive as he matured until he got caught with a counter.

Would you please give us some specific examples?

Please pretty please someone tell me this clown isnt serious right now.

I guess when he got KOed he wasn't in his prime. By the way there is no shame losing against Morales or Marquez, to great fighters
Pacquiao was stopped twice with body shots. Which have nothing to do with head movement. This goes to show this dude is a boxec warrior. He sees a stoppage loss and automatically thinks from headshots.

On second read, I think you are right. According to Barrerra, he said as a result of Jones that he polished the skills he already had and worked on his defense. So...Barrera already had the technical skills and he refined them. Thanks. (or...so says Barrera) http://www.secondsout.com/headlines/...attle-hardened

Junior Jones...I don't know too much about him except that he was damned good. However, he was the next fighter I was going to review and I think I'll start ASAP.

                Anyways...thanks for correcting me.

                  He was also.......

Manny was also a kid when he was forced to turn pro to provide for his family. He was basically thrown to the lions. The last time Manny was actually beaten, was the first Morales fight back in 2005. Since then, he's dominated the sport and the loss to Bradley, wasn't a loss. The loss to Roidquez wasn't a loss as far as I am concerned. I don't care about records. Without that **** in him that night, he gets stopped in the next couple of rounds.

                    Fact..........

This is a FACT and why the fight will never happened. Floyd fans should hate him for robbing us a great scrap and breaking the tradition of the best fighting the best of respective eras.

You won't acknowledge he turned down the fight twice and don't count his losses. says everything about you as a poster and fan.

As for the thread-I disagree with the TS. I think there speed is comprable.I think floyd's long arms give him a distinct advantage. I also agree with Dead Like Me that Manny has inferior skills, record, timing, ring generalship, chin, defense, and the ability to make in ring adjustments.
