Boxers age differently. Pacquiao has had 17 more fights than Floyd and been in tougher battles against better quality opposition.

Pac may have the faster hands and feet, but Floyd is better reflexes and elusiveness.

Also look at a young Floyd, i think his combo attacks were just as fast or faster than Pac and also he had a better arsenal from body to head or vice versa.

Actually, Pacman lost against Torrecampo because he was weight-drained. For his next fight he moved up in weight and never looked back. This can easily happen to a fighter Pac's age 9at the time) who is still growing quickly.

If Pacman has a moment when it would have been good to lose, then it would have been his first fight against Marquez. Pacquiao has often relied relied on his physical attributes to win a fight when he was technically outclassed (e.g., Ledwaba, Barrerra and Marquez). If he had been technically outclassed sooner in his career, Manny would have taken his technical development more serious and be a monstor today. However, he did take his technical development seriously after being KO'd by Marquez....and it showed when he rematched with Bradley . Now...I think Pacman is too slick for Marquez to handle.

Another fighter that changed fir the better as a result of a loss - 2 losses, in fact - was Marco Antonio Barrera. After his losses to Junior Jones, Marco developed a lot of Technical skill he preveiously didn't possess.

It's not a mystery as to why they have not fought, Mayweather puts up roadblock after roadblock beacause for the first time he'll be fighting someone who can match him and outmatch him in attributes.

When is the last time Mayweather fought someone who was both a harder puncher and had faster hands? Guerrero? Ortiz? lol gtfo

It's no wonder he has the better resume, he's the better fighter... Beats all the fighters Mayweather fought (Cotto, dlh, Hatton) with ease.

Cotto said Pac would beat Floyd quite comfortably. He is the best person to gauge as he fought Floyd recently. Better than JMM or Hatton, especially since Hatton was kod pronto and JMM was bloated.

It's a shame they never fought in their primes, now the fight is pointless.

Floyd had some vicious combinations back in the day, now he's slowed a lot.

Yep, alot of people say a fighters prime is anywhere between 25 to 30 but IMO Floyd physical prime was at 130 when he was 21 to 24. Every time he moved up he lost lost speed and power unlike Pac, plus the hand injuries.
I wish Pac was around 130 same time Floyd was, i think Floyd would have beat him easily. 147 different story, Pac became a better boxer and still kept his speed and power, would have been a tough one to call.

Thats incorrect. Barrera always possessed boxing skills. You just learned to box smarter than how aggressive he was.

Where or when did I say Barrera did not have Boxing Skills? How did you even read that into what I said?
