Arsenal of punches is better for Pacquiao, Floyd just pot shots that straight right and whips a quick left every now and then.
What Pacquiao and Mayweather can do against the likes of Ricky Hatton does not concern me for they both outclassed Hatton by a wide margin. However, it's how good fighters look against other fighters that they neccessarily don't just totally outclass that concerns me.

For example, have you seen the analysis of Pacman vs Bradley 2? Pacman looked great and was slicker than a weasel - and has a lot of tricks up his boxing sleeve. Best of all, Pacman can look great against someone he can't neccessaril dominate - a guy like Bradley.

On the other hand, Mayweather comparitively fell apart against Maidana. Mayweather could use none of his tricks with regularity. It was an eye-opener for sure.

I think manny knew he could beat tim. He probably liked knowing there was no chance Bradley could knock him out , or even down. Its also recognised by most that Maidana fought the right fight, while Bradley was going for the KO. But dont let facts get in the way of a good story.

Anyone can get KO'd by a perfect shot, you're drinking Floyd's cool aid and think if you don't win every fight you can't be the best smh.

We will only find that out when Floyd decides to fight him, but he'll wait until the cherry is more ripe for picking

Maybe to see if Floyd can outdo Marquez making Pac do the booty dew

But the fight won't decide who the best is. The best were decided decades ago

Pacquiao has faster hands, heavier hands, faster feet, better lateral and head movement, better overall movement (in and out footwork second to none), much better at pivoting around his opponents at sharp angles because of his lower center of gravity, and better stamina.

It's not a mystery as to why they have not fought, Mayweather puts up roadblock after roadblock beacause for the first time he'll be fighting someone who can match him and outmatch him in attributes.

When is the last time Mayweather fought someone who was both a harder puncher and had faster hands? Guerrero? Ortiz? lol gtfo

It's no wonder he has the better resume, he's the better fighter... Beats all the fighters Mayweather fought (Cotto, dlh, Hatton) with ease.

                      spot on!!

Floyd is great too but Manny is the greatest of his era, not so much now though, he has slowed considerably and the killer instinct is faded, still a top guy.
