Is that how you think it should work?
Mikkel Kessler kept himself atop the 168 rankings for 2 years after Calzaghe by fighting Dmitri Sartison, Danilo Haussler and Gusmyr Pedermo.
Chad Dawson and Edwin Rodriguez alone **** on the typical Kessler comp.
Jesus..... someone call Allan Green. Ward needs a resume bump by matching Kessler's biggest win of the past 4 years. LMAO
Or was Glass Rib Magee rated in the Top-3 as well?

Which is also the question of this thread.

Its an opinion obviously. I just disagree. I find it rather lame.
It's not hard to understand here. You guys are basically celebrating 3rd place play-offs as if they're for the championship.

Froch can top Ward by actually....you know....beating him!

That doesn't make any sense.
Well if the two teams in the final decided not to play at all, then I guess it would be for the championship, no?

Ward has fought twice since beating Froch in 2011. That is pathetic. I couldn't care less about his issues, that is his problem.
You can't just sit on the sidelines sniping about other fighters and claiming to be number 1 while not fighting yourself. At some point you have to prove it. Froch is the man defending his world titles. Froch is the man who is taking on the challengers in the division.
Froch is currently the number 1 Super Middleweight in the world. It's as simple as that. Ward needs to get his finger out and fight.
