America could learn a lesson from the UK and get behind their fighters and the sport of boxing. A nation with 5 times many people and can barely get 8000 people to watch "big" fights, nevermind 80,000. Andre Ward is an olympic gold medalist and supposedly one of the worlds elite fighters and can't draw a crowd in his hometown except his family and friends.

The US doesn't care about the sport but 2.2 million households paid $70 for a PPV.

It will most likely be a hardfought exciting fight between two guys with punching power and guts. What's not to like? Is every fight that not involves the #1 guy in the divison meaningless? Even when that guy dosen't fight?

This fight will be good and good fights are good for boxing.

Educated, objective fans know this will be the label....why?...because the A side of the bout has already been Owned by a guy with a torn rotator cuff on his right arm and a fractured hand on his left...

Yes...you read that correctly....Carl Froch was comprehensively beaten by a guy with injuries on BOTH sides...lol...it's really amazing in hindsight...

but hey....congratulations on your caring about Boxing even though you don't have any elite/great fighters, Britain....us Americans?....well, we generally don't give a **** about the sport...we couldn't get 80k for our biggest fight, let alone a Battle of The Bs fight like Froch-Groves....

Crazy that we still maintain and crank out the most (and BEST) TOP P4Pers, isn't it?

froch only lost by 2 rounds in Wards home country. Froch did zero inside sparring and if it was a 15 round fight would have koed ward.

Froch lost fair and square but it wastn the schooling in Wards hoke town people have you believe.

Whats ward done since, beat a overhyped weight drained lightheavy at a catch weight and a guy ive never heard off.

Froch since then has beaten, Kessler comprehensively and nearly stopped him, Bute in the 4 rounds who was ranked number 1 at the time and koed A 25 year old fantastic fighter at age 25.

He getting a rematch which sold out 80 000 in minutes.

          Keep hating...

Why did he do no inside sparring in training?

Gatti/Ward 1 was a meaningless fight as well. Look what happened.

Kessler and Bute aren't impressive wins. Secondly, we all know that he didn't Ko Groves.

Boxrec says he did I afraid.

Plus Groves, mack, Kessler and bute and groves again if better than Dawson at catch weight and some no name who didn't even make the weight.

Bute was ranked number 1 ahead of ward at the time froch koed him within 4.

Demand and supply my friend and ward has no demand.....

so what are you criticising here? are you upset that american boxing fans aren't as passionate as british fans despite having the better fighters?
