At least Froch and Groves do battle in the ring, and not the courtroom. The same cannot be said for retired Ward.

Ward couldn't draw 1/10 of this audience. Does he even fight anymore?

Also, it was funny him saying it's a "domestic fight" - of course, it's two guys from the same country but they are world level, the same way him vs Dawson was a domestic fight. Someone needs to tell Ward that America is not the world. Pretty dumb comments by Ward, i actually thought he was smarter than that.

Either way you look at it, i don't think Groves and Froch would be too bothered by these type of comments. They are fighting in front of 80,000 in their national stadium in a world title fight, no doubt making big money. Ward on the other hand is fighting once every couple of years in the local school gymnasium to "all the hundreds in attendance and the thousands watching around the world" as Mr Buffer would say.
