And that's like about $350k after taxes. And how much did he get for Bradley like $100k?

I mean if he's a money wizard and he can do a lot with about $400-500k(After buying a new home and all that), more power to him. You got guys like Terrel Owens having a $0 net worth after having earned $80million dollars, and Mike Tyson owing every penny he makes to the IRS, after earning $300mill+. Prov obviously does not live that lifestyle but I wonder how far $400-500k would go. I can understand a boxer earning a total of $1,000,000 after taxes and calling it a day, the average middle class person probably earns around that in 20 years of work. But I think he should fight in at least two more high profile fights, like vs Pacquiao and maybe Bradley again and then call it a day.

BTW i'm not hating on him, I just think he should take advantage of his opportunities. 100 f thousands, maybe even millions of people would love to be pro boxers and make it big getting 6 digit checks per fight, but they don't. I sure would have preferred to be a pro boxer rather than be in college. Get my ass kicked by Pacquiao, Mayweather, Canelo, hopefully not suffer a brain injury, and then i'm done, leave the sport with a couple million dollars and hopefully my health intact.

let's say he has 450k USD currently, well that means he's taking at least 15.4 million RUB back to Siberia.

if the pacquiao or marquez fight presents itself, there's no doubt he'll continue to fight though.

15.4million sounds like a lot but everything is probably adjusted for inflation.

This thread proves that peoplewill find a reason to hate on someone. Ruslan makes every fight he is in exciting, he is fearless in the ring, he ducks no one, is very humble, and plans to retire a bit early so he can give back to the area that he came from. Yet people in this thread still don't like the guy? WOW! Not sure what you guys want from him.

true, the cost of living in Moscow can get pretty damn expensive. but ruslan is more than well off in bum**** Siberia.
