After Garcia defeated him (which I predicted) he was an overrated nobody. Stevenson had a decent challenge and now the fickesperts claim he is overrated.
I always said the jury was still out on him based on his career performances and I still say the jury is out on him. How he performs against Hopkins and hopefully Kovalev and Andre Ward will tell me whether he is truly a great fighter or just another Antonio Tarver who is living off his performance in one fight.
My personal opinion is that he is good. He would definitely beat Kovalev; might beat a 50 year-old Hokins, but would not beat a 40 year-old Hopkins; and he would get taken to school for 12 rounds and possibly KO'd by Ward.
Ward prefers law suits not fights.

He has a big mouth, the whole network Kovalev thing, has a fight with a feather-fisted Fonfara and can't finish him because he's so one dimensional, can't use his right hand for ****, his resistance to being heavily attacked is suspect.
He gassed out. It could be a one-off fight or signs he was never reall that great, time will tell.
But he made it EASY for everyone to turn on him.

LOOK AT ME!
He knew this backlash was coming while HBO was trying to build this fight. I can't wait till Hopkins liberates his belt and he's on his back crying for a network to pick him up. HBO will sacrifice him and leave him after Kovalev is done feasting on his bones.
Existence is pain
