Comments Thread For: Manager: Postol Would Be Even Better With Danny Garcia

Vadim Kornilov, manager of WBC International junior welterweight champion Victor Postol (26-0, 11KOs) of Ukraine, says his fighter will look even better if he gets the opportunity to face WBC/WBA 140-pound champion Danny Garcia. Two weeks ago in California, Postol won a final WBC eliminator with a very impressive eleventh round knockout of durable contender Selcuk Aydin of Turkey.

Danny going to ice this guy. Postol beat a zombie Aydin that win is very misleading.

You saw it right, he controlled the fight, but was a slow early. He is stiff, but uses his jab well. His foot work is adequate, but he's not a dancer. He reminds me of a machine with too many parts, it took too long to coordinate everything. Beautiful ending though.

He started off the fight slow but then picked up and thoroughly dominated Aydin.

I'd like to see a fight with Danny or even Matthysse.

I don't see his fight happening. IMO Garcia will either rematch Matthysse or move up and it will be Matthysse vs Postol for the vacant strap. Either way their both good match ups.

this is what matthysse's manager (arano) said, if garcia moves up they want the winner of postol/aydin (postol) for the vacant wbc belt
