the man is a multi millionaire, a two time world champion, and has a legit 10 for a wife...

some of these guys act humble, but it's only an act. to succeed on a high level in boxing, or any other athletics, you need a level of confidence that most men can't even understand.

Sure, confidence is great. But he likes to undermine others while putting himself on a pedestal.
e.g; He called himself an 'International superstar', demanded respect and was offended by Groves when he pointed out his flaws.He's made some negative comments about guys like Khan, Fury and even Haye. It's well known that he was bitter that other british fighters were given more backing than he was, earlier in his career.

tbh, i don't dislike Carl, i just like Groves and therefore want him to win.

Casual fans in Britain are, for the most part, ******ed. Just look at David Haye FFS; he STILL has a huge support base.

The only things I can think off from the top of my head is that maybe he is a tad arrogant and overestimates his abilities.

Other than that he seems like a decent bloke and has been a good ambassador for British boxing.

He is a hell of a lot more than just a tad arrogant. He is so arrogant his picture should be beside that word in the dictionary. He is a good fighter and an important fighter but not even a tenth as good or important as he acts like he is. He makes a terrible ambassador for British boxing. He disrespects the hell out of other fighters especially his rivals and future opponents. When he has a fight coming up I read about him telling the future opponent what a beating he is going to give him every God damn day. Fury and Khan are very similar in their over the top arrogance but they are not as good fighters as Froch. If Froch would shut the fuc up and let his fists do his talking I would be a big Froch fan. He talks about this guy he is fighting in the worst possible way and I hope the guy knocks him out.
