I agree bob johnson was a bad example, I just know what he accomplished with his mind and smarts but honestly have never heard anything about his personal love..
Floyd for his career is a great role model,, nothing wrong with the way he handles himself at the gym or in the ring, a true professional that always stays in shape, and is always focused. But Floyd outside of the ring is another story.. Would you want your child to be a convicted wife beater, multiple run ins with the law, threatening your own dad and calling him a fa$$ot on national tv, posting about your ex girlfriend having an ********.. That's the stuff that drags Floyd down from being a true ambassador to the world
I said that going to school wasn't a positive thing by itself because you stated that is why you cited the founder of BET. He was smart or whatever but he didn't do something positive with it IMO, being smart and powerful isn't a good thing on its own as my quote stated and also there is a difference between education and qualification. You just said that you haven't made assumptions about me but you just said I said education is bad when I didn't.

I believe I bashed spadafora when he was being an idiot and had his troubles with the law.,, it doesn't matter about your skin color but how you act..

And too act like white people had nothing to do with ending slavery is about the dumbest thing I have ever read...
UNDERGROUND RAILROAD ring a bell, probably not since you stated earlier that using your brain and doing good in school isn't that great..
You do realize that black leaders in Africa were greatly responsible for enslaving some of the tribes and selling them...
Honestly I can't believe anyone would dispute that white people had a role in ending slavery when they most certainly did
Actually you said I had a kill whitey attitude, I never advocated killing anyone so that's an assumption and you have made a bunch of others, stop lying.

No you clearly don't know anything about that subject and shouldn't have brought it up in the first place you are just looking desperate to be honest.

You keep ignoring my points and deflecting, like the last part of the post this post was responding to.

I love when one of these clowns that went to college for 4-6yrs and owe six figures in student loans. All so they can jump out there and make $40k. Criticizes someone super successful like Floyd for being "uneducated."

Weren't him and Ti shown together in the past being completely respectful to one another? Something tells me an hr or two after the altercation Floyd called Ti and said, "Hey thanks, man. I really appreciate your help by pulling in an extra bundle of PPV buys for me."
I yeah a ugly washed up singer from the 90s and a washed op rapper must have got him 2 extra buys or not....maybe PAC should bring beyonce and fight JAY Z because he needs the help

That would be some ignorant crap for me to say and would be completely wrong..

You say I'm not part of your culture but you are dead wrong.. I grew up in the same neighborhoods, same schools, same parties, same gyms, etc... I have driven guys when they turned themselves in, I have seen how society tries to ignore the problems, I have witnessed first hand from as far back as I can remember.. To say because I'm not black, I can't possible understand is just complete ignorance...
If I said "Your not white, not way could you understand paying taxes, being a father and not being on government support." That would be bogus as hell for me to think like that.. And that's what your doing to me..

If your truely color blind and skin color doesn't matter, then my words would be important and not my color..
If I was black and said the same thing that I have- that Floyd and TI are idiots and bad role models, you would probably agree, but since I'm white, I must be trying to degrade or generalize blacks.. Do you see how short sighted that is..

I can make the same claims about young white girls that look up to idiots like Kim kardashian, Miley citrus, etc..
It's not about race, but how you act

I understand both points but saying its equal to blacks owning big companies, business, etc was a dumb comparison....whites have destroyed plenty civilizations by violence ...so when something happens very violent shoukd i compare to all whites...wood harellson married step daughter he raised, Elvis was a drug addict and cheater, Phil Collins am admitted wife beater, i could go on forever no do we judge the whole race by their action or just the individual. Shoukd u walk across the street when i see white in mid 40s and up because they could be pedo or serial killers ....thats dumb

(Your inaccurate phrasing aside) When did Floyd become a role-model and for whom?

I know many up & coming boxer's look up to his technical skill-set and how well he executes in the ring. But I don't think many view him as a role-model -- More so than a role-model, he's an example of what hard work and dedication yields in the sport of boxing.

In a broader sense, it would seem that many have jaded personal interpretations of certain people in general, and that clouds any possibility of being objective. No matter what Floyd does or doesn't do, his actions will always be viewed in a negative light. This isn't necessarily Floyd's fault!

If for example, I interpret and view every rapper as a thug-like character, then no matter what personal reality exists, they will be viewed negatively purely because of my jaded perception and pseudo-interpretations.

Exactly!! The problem is they can't wrap their minds around the fact that they went to school all those years but this urban kid makes more money than their entire family extended included will ever make. I expect to hear BS but don't we get education to become successful? It's F'd up to them that this kid (Floyd) used his God given talents and has accomplished more than they can dream of. Floyd may not be a role model outside of the ring but he damn sure is one when it comes to his craft.
