Definitely not but would be a great achievement.

He should beat Stevenson when they fight.

If he gets past the first 4 or 5 rounds without hitting the deck more than once, I think he takes the decision. Even at his age I think Hopkins takes away that left hand and mugs Aduckis.

If he beats stevenson and becomes a 3 time lineal champ at 175 would be an amazing feat, and the perfect time to walk ago from the game.. Of course then people would be posting that he ducked kovolev

To put it simply.

Before Dawson, no one would give Stevenson a chance in hell against Hopkins.

After Dawson, there's no way Hopkins would beat Stevenson.

Now after Fonfara, Hopkins likely beats him now.

I've always been of the opinion that Hopkins should beat Stevenson. I don't rate Stevenson too highly.

Well he would be ducking Kovalev, but at his age fair enough, a decent excuse to retire. I don't think anyone really expects him to start a new run and jump around the networks and retire when he's 60 or 70.

Hopkins will smother Stevenson and make him look silly.
