I meant crawford had to stay on outside and box. Gamboa has to get on the inside and do his work there. If he let's crawford stay outside gamboa will get stopped

Gamboa just has to stay active for all 3 minutes of each round. I think he'll wear down Crawford.

Get off first and keep him off balance. Easier said than done.

If they were the same size the question would be: "What does Crawford has to do to beat Gamboa?"

I think Gamboa has to use his handspeed and footwork. He's superior in those departments. Crawford makes mistakes when he's attacking, Gamboa should try to capitalize on it. Trying to fight on the inside would be a mistake because Crawford is naturally bigger and probably stronger.

Gamboa is gonna have to let his hands go. He's at his most dangerous when throwing combinations at mid-range. This is risky, but it's better than counter-punching from the outside.

If amateurs counted here Gamboa would be a huge 100 to 1 favorite. Gamboa has royally fked himself opting to have no trainer still, and ever since he took that road he always looks like he is just in there to get carried by his physical and technical prowess without any thought for strategy or gameplan a or b. Gamboa without a trainer makes this a 50/50 fight this guy will be much tougher than Mikey imho. Also a little brujeria Pac mom style wouldn't hurt.

This. Crawfords main advantage will be his size an Gamboa huge inactivity.

Gamboa needs to just fight to his ability and not lose focus. Gamboa really has special qualities but has suffered from terrible career management. He tends to fight to his oponents ability but still, he has big power but he's undersized at this weight class in addition to Crawford being big. If Gamboa can be focused for an entire fight and really bring it he should win. But he gets lazy in the ring sometimes (reminds me of Donaire) or just bored and starts making ****** decisions... Crawford is the truth and that shouldnt be an issue. The ref will play a big part in this fight with how much he'll allow in terms of clinching. Crawford should be good enough to exploit his size and strength if he's allowed and if he plays it safe when he has to he should be able ti catch Gamboa getting dumb and maybe flash KD him... I can see Gamboa hitting the canvas.

                      This fight is VERY interesting.
